Eddisons Expands Professional Services Team

National firm of Chartered Surveyors Eddisons has announced two senior appointments in its Professional Services department.  

Elaine Torpey joins as a director at the firm’s London office where she will be responsible for rent reviews, lease renewals, lease restructuring and third party referrals on behalf of landlords and tenants. Elaine was previously a director at Colliers International (London). 

Mohammed Basharat joins as an associate director in the Birmingham office. Mr Basharat previously managed his own practice, MBA Surveyors, where he advised clients including Farm Foods, Axa Sun Life Plc and Pizza Hut. Prior to that he was at Johnson Fellows. 

Nigel McDonald, Managing Director of Eddisons said: ‘Elaine and Mohammed bring with them a wealth of experience which will add further expertise to our existing team.’

Eddisons employs over 200 people and has offices in Leeds, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bradford, Bristol, Glasgow, Huddersfield and Dublin.

Prior to joining Eddisons, Richard worked in the real estate division of a 'Big Four' firm where his notable assignments included the privatisation of Saudi Telecom for flotation on the New York Stock Exchange.
