National firm of Chartered Surveyors Eddisons, whose head office is in Leeds, has appointed Darren Toms as Client Services Director of its Insolvency Insurance Services division.
Mr Toms (38) has over 10 years experience in the insolvency industry, specialising in insolvency insurance, where he has managed a range of complex insurance issues.
His key focus will be on driving expansion of the division into key markets and developing relationships with new and existing clients on a national basis.
He said: ‘I have admired the innovative work Eddisons and Aon have been carrying out for some time and am delighted to have joined such a respected firm. I look forward to contributing to their ambitious growth plans.’

The Insolvency Insurance team specialises in providing bespoke property insurance and risk management solutions to a range of financial institutions and insolvency practitioners. Eddisons entered the UK insolvency insurance market in 2010 in conjunction with Aon and RSA.

Over the last eight years, Richard has been appointed LPA Receiver on many high profile properties and assists in the recovery of distressed loan portfolios.
Prior to joining Eddisons, Richard worked in the real estate division of a 'Big Four' firm where his notable assignments included the privatisation of Saudi Telecom for flotation on the New York Stock Exchange.
