Eddisons has attracted 154 lots for its final two day property auction of the year.
The catalogue includes a range of properties, from tenanted and vacant commercial, industrial and residential investments, to land and ground rents, on behalf of a variety of private and corporate clients.
Tony Webber of Eddisons said: ‘The December auction is traditionally a time for investors to bag themselves a bargain or two'.
‘As the year end approaches vendors are keen to dispose of unwanted stock, which is reflected in the number of lots we have attracted and the guide prices set.’
Highlights include a major chilled distribution unit in Scunthorpe. The self contained property which extends to over 142,000 sq ft is located on the Foxhills Industrial Estate, approximately 2 miles north of Scunthorpe town centre and is guided at £300,000 plus.
In Leeds, the Grade II listed former Upper Wortley school which occupies a site extending to approximately 3.2 acres is being offered with full planning consent for 29 new build homes, 18 new build apartments and 24 converted apartments. The guide price is £250,000 plus.
Elsewhere, a former sewage water treatment works in the hamlet of Middlecliff, near Darfield has a guide price of £10 to 15,000.
In the Little Germany area of Bradford, a ground rent investment opportunity producing annual income of £19,300, secured on 45 apartments and a ground floor office suite, has a guide price of £350,000.
Meanwhile, in Moston near Manchester, a tenanted site comprising a hand car wash and MOT station, producing rent of £26,500 is guided at £250,000.
The catalogue also includes Berthddu Hall, a mansion house in Llandinam, Powys, described as needing a full refurbishment which is being offered on the instructions of the joint LPA receivers at a guide price of £375,000 plus.
Residential stock also includes a detached house on North Lane, close to Roundhay Park in Leeds.
The property includes two double bedrooms and a single bedroom to the ground floor. The first floor is currently a games room, with potential to convert to a master bedroom. The guide price is £250,000 plus.
And a three bedroom semi-detached cottage and a separate three bedroom house on Chapel Fold in Batley requiring modernisation, is guided at £140,000 plus.
Stock in Bury is also well represented, with 18 properties being offered at guide prices from £30,000. The majority of properties are tenanted and produce annual income of up to £5,400 per annum.
The two day sale takes place on December 4 at the Premier Inn, Trafford Park, Manchester and on December 6 at Leeds United Football Ground, Elland Road, Leeds. Both sales start at 12.30pm.
