Eddisons has been providing transport advice in relation to the proposed retail and leisure development within Widnes town centre for a number of years.
The site is accessed from one of the main highway routes through Widnes and the various planning applications have each required negotiation through a complicated planning process, with traffic impact being at the forefront of the numerous issues.
Car parking management within the site was also considered in some detail to allow the additional retail and leisure units to operate efficiently within the town centre.
There have been a number of planning applications consented at the site including a large M&S store.
