CHALLENGE
A number of NHS trusts in the East of England were looking to improve their estates. We undertook a key piece of work to help Improving the estate to enhance the primary and secondary care services delivered by NHS Trusts across Suffolk.
SOLUTION
We provided the NHS trusts with a broad range of strategic property advice. This has included preparation of feasibility studies, option appraisals, business cases and transaction work relating to their operational estates. We have undertaken the preparation of a capital plans, and successful funding to implement new estate initiatives such as community hubs, diagnostic hubs, and investment into campus settings.
RESULTS
Our studies have focused on options to rationalise estates including:
- helping drive improvement for key buildings to ensure they are fit for purpose
- undertaking the replacement health hubs
- the identification of cost saving opportunities in light of budgetary pressure
- master planning of sites
