Our team consists of multidisciplinary and qualified chartered surveyors who take pride in delivering a first class service whether you require a one-off property project or a more complex portfolio requirement. Our specialist surveys represent a key service area for all clients – whether owners or occupiers and across a full range of sectors. These specialist surveys can include ground investigation and ecology surveys, measured surveys, feasibility assessments, repairs and renovations, planning and listed building consents, cladding surveys and much more besides.
In addition to some of our core services shown via red buttons above, our team is also particularly skilled in the area of Planned Preventative Maintenance Programmes (PPMPs). We regularly work on behalf of agents and commercial property owners to ensure the condition, and ultimately the value, of their building is preserved and maintained over a period of time – usually 5 to 20 years. Our experience in this area is extensive across commercial, residential and industrial sectors, ensuring that you receive the most efficient and effective plan of action to protect your asset over a number of years through carefully devised maintenance plans for the fabric and services of your property.
Another area in which our chartered surveyors add real value is through Schedules of Condition which documents the condition of a building or other property, normally for legal or contractual purposes, usually ahead of a lease being signed. It is vital that tenants are fully aware of their repair and maintenance obligations before they sign a commercial property lease; otherwise they could be liable to the tune of thousands of pounds. Getting the right advice from a team of professionals and chartered surveyors will ensure all parties' interests are secure and avoid potential dilapidations disputes when the lease comes to an end.
Members of our expert team can also act for both developers and adjoining owners in party wall and neighbourly matters and our experience in this area is widespread in both the public and private sector. Building work in or around residential areas can create potential disputes and clients need to be aware of their responsibilities in relation to scaffolding, crane agreements, ransom strips, access areas and party wall awards. Our qualified chartered surveyors are regularly appointed to advise clients on such matters.
We can also advise on land registry compliant plans for building projects to ensure you meet all the legal criteria. Our qualified chartered surveyors ensure every client plan complies with Land Registry guidance and practice – resulting in your plans gaining acceptance at the first time of asking.
