Eddisons - Get it right

Eddisons’ Rowan Gains

Northern Trust’s Rowan Trade Park on Neville Road, Bradford has reaped the benefits of an excellent location and the city’s competitive prices by passing the 80 per cent tenanted mark only 6 months after practical completion.

The developers of the 33,000 sq ft development, which is being marketed by the Bradford office of leading commercial property agent, Eddisons, passed the 80 per cent milestone mark when electrical wholesaler, Hagemeyer agreed to a 10-year lease on units 1A and 1B. The 6,600 square ft was leased off an asking rent approaching £7 per square ft.

John Padgett of Eddisons’ Bradford office commented: “The high quality of construction has combined with the development’s attractive features, such as generous car parking and a remotely monitored CCTV system, and its easily accessible location to ensure this success.”

Mark Hope, from developers Northern Trust added: “Our aim is always to create a range of modern workshop/trade counter units in sizes that suit the needs of local, regional, and national operators looking to locate in the area. As a result, we have an excellent track record across the North of England in establishing popular and successful schemes.”

In addition to Hagemeyer, other tenants on the Rowan Trade Park include national electrical trade counter operator, Lockwell Lectrics and American oil industry manufacturer, Powell.

“Without fail every tenant has been influenced by the tailor made lease terms offered by Northern Trust, which are designed to not only attract businesses to the Park, but ensure they remain content once they’ve taken up occupancy,” added John Padgett.

And with interest in the remaining units high, Padgett advises anybody interested in the Rowan Trade Park to “move quickly”.
