Acting on behalf of academic publisher, Maney Publishing, the Leeds office of commercial property agent, Eddisons has completed the sale of a 13,479 sq ft industrial property on Hudson Road in East Leeds.
Consisting of substantial warehouse and storage space, as well as extensive air-conditioned offices and a secure service yard, the property was put on the market following Maney Publishing’s decision to relocate to new premises in Joseph’s Well. Following a considerable amount of interest, Eddisons quickly finalised a deal with a private investor for a sum comfortably exceeding the £375,000 asking price.
“We’re currently experiencing something of a shortage of industrial freehold properties in the Leeds area, which means that as soon as one does hit the market there is huge demand for it, most notably amongst owner-occupiers keen to add property to their business assets,” said Simon Croft of Eddisons.
