Eddisons Doubles Up in Blackburn
Our Manchester office has demonstrated the scope of its service by selling stock, machinery and property belonging to Dugdale Davies - a former pet food manufacturer.
Appointed by joint adminstrator, DTE Leonard Curtis, Eddisons firstly disposed of all stock and machinery used by Dugdale Davies through a combination of auction and private treaty sale.
Following on from this successful sale, we then commenced marketing of the now vacant 14,803 sq ft industrial premises. Located on Johnson Way, off Sett End Road West in Blackburn, the property was just half a mile from J5 of the M65 and comprised a modern warehouse with integral cold store and office facilities.
"Due to the lack of high quality freehold industrial premises in Blackburn, interest was exceptionally high from the moment we commenced marketing and in a relatively short period of time we'd agreed terms with local investors and developers, The Hurstwood Group,” said Jim Asquith.
The property was sold off an asking price of £695,000.
