Eddisons - Get it right

Dual Appointment

One of the north of England’s leading commercial property agents, Eddisons has underlined its intentions for the year ahead by strengthening its Manchester office with two senior appointments.

Tim Hawkins has joined the office as head of its property management division, while Emma Johnson has moved across the Pennines from the company’s Leeds office to become head of valuation services.

Commenting on the move, managing director, Nigel McDonald said; “These appointments clearly demonstrate our intention to concentrate on the growth of our Manchester office during 2007.”

“We have a growing team, an expanding number of services and these two highly qualified, committed and enthusiastic individuals will certainly help take us a long way towards our goals for the year ahead.”

Boasting well over 20-years related experience, Tim Hawkins joins Eddisons from Suttons City Living in Manchester, where he headed the property management department across the north west of England and north Wales.

Tasked with replicating the success enjoyed by the company’s property management division in West Yorkshire, he goes into the job with confidence high.

“Manchester and its surrounding areas are undergoing huge transformation, key to which is the number of new residential and mixed-use developments currently under construction,” said Tim. “It is therefore my intention to capitalise on these favourable market conditions and make Eddisons one of the first choices for block management in the area.”

Meanwhile, Emma Johnson will be aiming to further develop Eddisons reputation as one of the leading valuation and insolvency practices in the north of England.

“We have 15 surveyors valuing in excess of £500million of property a year and my aim is to add to this success, while also making a real name for Eddisons in Manchester,” she explained. “By increasing our presence in the city, I’m certain that the division can go from strength to strength.”
