EMEA Facilities Management Across Europe

Our client is an international, global player in the Information Technology and Internet Services industry. As an American corporate, the company had encountered innumerable barriers to meeting their global expansion ambitions while retaining effective control over their many satellite offices.

The core business demanded physical presence in countries whose property and facilities culture differed greatly from the successful US model. Equally, the requirements were modest with the size of building and the number of people housed being relatively small, and yet these small regional domains were vitally important and subsequently had demands of equal parity to the US model.

In response to the client’s requirements, our Facilities Management team, maximising our Technology and Communications offering, developed an operational division which was able to address all the demands of the client. The principles that underpin this delivery are:

  • The establishment of a legal entity in each and every designated EMEA and ME country (France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Switzerland with the capacity to employ staff and deliver micro Management Information
  • A central management infrastructure that has the flexibility and versatility to meet country (and language) specific needs
  • A single point of contact for client reporting and management
  • Delivery of site services to a consistent standard to meet pre-determined corporate requirements
  • The provision of a 24x7 Technology and Communications centre through which all transactional, compliance and operational activity is logged, analysed and resolved
  • Providing an ‘E Ticketing’ solution to allow client staff to log all requirements from within their own intranet
  • All Management Information is correlated and displayed in ‘real time’ allowing all users, in all countries, in all time zones - security controlled access
  • The establishment and day to day management of a unique financial management model where a secure, dedicated, regulated account is used to process all financial activity. All financial activity is visible in real time on line with ongoing re-forecasting. The client receives a single invoice for account prefunding once per month

We have encountered several companies who have felt that the size of their operations in EMEA and the ME should have precluded the cost effective use of an outsourced provision and that the nature of their business rendered the perceived risk of having their employees (and customers) dealing with an external provider a step too far.  The very nature of our model is one of absolute transparency and visibility of all elements, rendering these fears groundless.
