The Eddisons Valuation Services Group have created a ‘National Centre of Excellence’ in the provision of Banking and Corporate Insolvency Advice to the UK Banking Recoveries Sector through acting as Law of Property Act (Fixed Charge) Receivers and in providing Insolvency Support to Insolvency Practitioners.

Our Valuation Services Group is arranged in three ‘Key Centre’ service groups headed by director level experienced Chartered Surveyors - Richard Roe in Leeds, Anthony Spencer in Manchester and Mark Downham in London.  This National Group which covers the whole of the UK has an integrated service solutions team extending to 30 professional team members.

As Fixed Charge Property Receivers, Richard Roe, Anthony Spencer and Mark Downham are appointed by Banks, Building Societies, Financial Institutions and other Lenders who have secured their loans by a Legal Charge (Mortgage) on a property. The powers of the Appointed Receiver in each case are set out in the Mortgage Deed (Legal Charge) and to an extent in the Law of Property Act 1925.

As Insolvency Support Specialists, our Valuation Services department advise Insolvency Practitioners and provide a joined up solution to distressed scenarios involving property and company related assets.  Drawing upon the wide range of services provided by other departments, the instructions are provided with a bespoke solution from the relevant experts and departments.
